| Hello Tango Dancers, Next Argentine tango dance at Chilworth Hall will be on Saturday 1st April. ‘Ancient religions celebrated April 1st as the New Year. This is when Spring brought new plantings of seeds for food for all in the Summer. It was a time of great celebration. The Roman Catholics changed the day to a day for ‘fools’.’ Lets celebrate this day as it should be with a great dance Yes its gana be a uplifting night this April 1st as the old new new year & dancing till late ! Music will be a mixture of early, golden age & late traditional tango with a splash of modern. Doors open from 8pm till V-late Tea, coffee & cake with £1 honesty box for bottle beer & glass of wine. Wishing you freedom to breath, dance, & lets take no notice of all that media psychological scaremongering ….yeah ! |
